Hi I am Beth. I live in the North West of England in the beautiful and vibrant city of Manchester. Most famous for the football teams, TV shows, the amazing music, our 'Worker Bee' and of course our resounding community spirit.
I love many many things and will happily receive postcards relating to any of them, or anything you love too, whether that be what makes you happy or the place where you live. I'd love to hear all about the place you are from, the city, traditions, recipes anything you would like to share.
I am a very creative person, I love crafting, BuJos, knitting, crochet, Tunisian crochet, scrapbooking, decupatch, drawing, painting, lace making, patchwork, sewing.
I enjoy gardening and being at one with nature, nothing better than walking the fells and hills that surround where I live with my husband and 2 dogs (boxer and lab/pointer cross). Flowers, trees, the rising sun, the moon, hills, rivers, the sea, all have it's beauty and draw to me. Some of my favourite places in this world are in Dorset (one of my favourite holiday destinations), walking the Jurassic Coast is always a pleasure. We do geocache (MARFN8 if you do, you'll know what to do with that code) and this helps us explore new places. Being in nature is a spiritual thing for me, I can deeply about the environment.
I spent many years as a Guide and Ranger leader in Girlguiding, I am still involved at a County level, looking after all the Young Leaders and helping out/getting involved at grass roots as and when I am wanted or I want to. I am working towards my Bronze Voyage Award in the Trefoil Guild.
My husband and I love spending weekends away in our trailer tent, with the dogs. Being able to go and switch off our brains and selves from the technology is our idea of just bliss. We love vintage camping gear, camping under canvas, with plenty of bunting, you can always tell at a glance which tent is ours!!
I fandoms I love: Outlander (who doesn't love Jamie Fraser? And I have a soft sport for Murtagh and I love Monsieur Raymond's character)

I support West Ham United, Sale Sharks RUFC & England RFU. As a sports therapist I enjoy watching all sports, personally I enjoy yoga, swimming and running.
I am a very open minded and liberal individual, but there are still things that upset me, racism, homophobia, small mindedness, misogyny. I'm all for a bit of love, peace and tolerance so please don't send preaching or hatred with your card.
