Hi, my name is Renate. I live in Holland with my husband and three daughters. I'm a schoolteacher on a primary school. I read about postcrossing in the magazine "Flow" and I loved the idea. I became a member at once. I'm looking forward to postcards from all over the world.

I like postcards of:
- animals
- flowers
- landscapes
- art
- vintage
- movie stars
- abstract cards
- black and white cards
- cards from Inge Löök
- cards from Anne Geddes
- cards from your country or city.
-funny cards with a joke in it.

But all kind of cards I appreciate to receive.

My hobby's are: reading books, films, knitting, crochet,DIY projects,photography!

Many years ago I studied Russian language. At this moment I'm studying sign language so I can communicate with deaf people.

Please, tell me something about the famous writers of your country and the kind of books you like to read! It can inspire me to read one of your favorite books!
