About Sara...

Hi there! I'm Sara. I'm a 36 year old nerd living with my husband Ryan, our three cats Gadget, Tex and Vigo, and our two crested geckos Phineas and Ferb. I love making my own postcards, but I'm really bad at remembering to put the dates on them. I'm trying though!

I got married on Halloween 2008 at Walt Disney World. Unsurprisingly my husband and I are big Disney fans. Besides Disney, I'm also a huge fan of Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Rifftrax. I collect balljointed dolls, stickers, and just about anything that is glittery.

I have fibromyalgia and major depression, but thankfully I've got an awesome support system between my husband and my friends. With their help I am much more than my illnesses.

Once upon a time I worked in database management, but now I'm a "stay at home cat mom", who sells various bits of craft stuff on Etsy. I don't make loads of money doing it, but the important thing is that it's fun and keeps me from getting super bored at home. I usually only leave the house about once a week, so it's easy to get bored!

If you don't know what to say, just tell me about you. Tell me a random story from your childhood or what you had for breakfast or your plans for the day. Tell me anything!

As far as postcards go, I will be thrilled with any that I receive. But I'm particularly interested in:

- Bees
- Red pandas
- Cats
- Ghostbusters
- Coffee
- Scenery or art from wherever you're from
- Disney parks (especially ones not in the USA)
- Anything spooky or weird
- Anything sparkly/glittery or that glows in the dark
- Cute things
- Holiday stuff! Any of them! Especially holidays we don't really have in the USA.
- And I love old postcards. I don't even care what's on them.

Homemade postcards are super awesome, as long as they're strong enough to handle being sent through the mail without getting ruined.

I am totally interested in direct swaps, but only if you want homemade postcards. I love making my own cards!

For anyone curious about the little stickers I sometimes put on the back of my cards, they're made using an HP Sprocket printer. I love sending along little pictures from my life!
