Hi there!
I’m Oleg, I’m 67 years old. I’m married, our adult children live separated. I have three grandchildren and two granddaughters.

I studied and grew up in Nizhny Novgorod on Volga. Long worked in the Far North. Recently, 6 years ago, moved to the suburb of Moscow to the beautiful embankment of the river Moscow.

While I lived in the North, and there was a long, long polar night, I dreamed of moving «to the mainland». I dreamed of living on the bank of the river with a pedestrian bridge and a church in the courtyard. I imagined myself sitting on a waterfront under an umbrella, drinking beer and writing a book on relativity or quantum mechanics.

That’s how it happened. The windows of my apartment overlook the waterfront. There’s a beautiful church in the yard. There’s a pedestrian bridge coming from my house across the river. I have to buy an umbrella and write a book. Also I promised my wife the Nobel Prize in physics. And promises have to be kept.

I’m a mathematician by trade and fond of astronomy. Now I teach mathematics and physics.
I spend almost all my free time at the dacha, in construction and landscape design. I like Russian baths, bike rides, swimming, fishing.
I like to read science and fiction.
I like to go to the Volga in the summer, drive a motorboat and go fishing.
Used to love riding a snowmobile up north.
I love to travel in Europe, UK, US, Africa. I like to relax in Spain, Portugal. I dream of going to New Zealand, Japan.

The last books I have read are Julian Barnes «The Noise of Time», Yuvala Noah Harari «Sapiens, brief history of mankind», Ivan Bunin «Dark Alleys».
Now I read Yuvala Noah Harari «Homo Deus, a brief history of tomorrow».
The last film I like is «Memories of a fool».
Last tourist trip - Portugal.
The last work in the dacha is landscape design.
The last math work is an exam assignment with parameters.
The last Presentations I’m making - Aberration and Transverse Doppler Effect in Relativity.
The last dish is morning tea.
