About Larisa...

Hello, postcrossers!
:)
My name's Larisa, I'm from the Far East of Russia.
I work as a journalist in a local newspaper, so I'm interested in everything that happens around me and in the world.
I write about people, education, culture, ecological and social problems. Sometimes I travel abroad, actually to China, and I love the country very much. It's amazing how fast they develop new projects and cities!
I wish I could go to France, to the place where my favourite painter Claud Monet lived creating his garden and his unique paintings.

I live in a small village that is located by the picturesque Lake Khanka.I like living here with my family.

My hobbies are reading books, history, photography. I love communicating with people from all over the world to know more about their lifestyle, culture, traditions, hobbies and food. So I'm open to everything new.
My latest hobby is junk journals, so I'd be happy to receive an envelope with the paper and fabric junk - tickets, labels, ribbons, fabric scratches and so on.

As an active learner I appreciate something new about the English language - interesting idiom, new local expression or even a legend about the place you live in. If you've got a favorite quotation or a poem, please, share it with me. Or write me about what made you happy recently. I'm also interested in books, so you can tell me about your favourite writer or story.

And if you feel like writing a whole letter feel free to do it. I'd be glad to find penpals to share thoughts and goodies.

Actually, I'd love to receive any kind of nice cards that you'd like to get yourself, something to surprise me:) So feel free to choose a postcard for me! And my dream is to get a handmade postcard! I also adore handmade envelopes:)

Let's surprise each other and happy postcrossing!
