About Miyu...
Hello, my name is Miyu. I live in Japan and I am a miko.
I have been working for a Shinto-shrine for 7 years.
I have never traveled outside of the Japan,
so I am interested in learning about other lands and cultures
and like seeing postage stamps from around the world.
In my free time:
- playing the piano and koto
- reading books (history, classical literature and folktale...)
- learning the tea ceremony, Japanese flower arrangement, Japanese calligraphy and kagura
- going to art museums, classical music concerts, historic buildings and hot springs
- drawing picture
These are some themes I like(in no particular order):
- places & cultures unique to your country or home town
- symbols of your country or home town(e.g. flowers, animals and birds)
- wild animals from your country or home town
- national costumes, instruments, foods, sweets
- holidays, festivals, scenic views, historic buildings
- arts, paintings, illustrations, children books
- Moomins, Santa Claus
- myths, folktales, fairytales, legends
- your favorite things
You can send me however any kind of postcard you like.
All postcards are welcome. Handmade is fine.
Any postcard you would like to send me, I will love and greatly appreciate.
I hope you can avoid writing cursive.
Thank you for reading.
I look forward to receiving your postcard!
