About Sherry...

Hello, my name is Sherry. I live in Houston, Texas, USA and work as a lawyer. My hobbies are cooking for my friends, reading books about history, writing, riding my bike, exploring the city, and playing with my dog, Scooter. Scooter is a Jack Russell Terrier and is very active! My favorite movies are the ones by Federico Fellini and Wes Anderson, and also just about any German movie. I like most kinds of music, but I have an enduring love of the band Belle and Sebastian (from Scotland).

I am truly happy to receive any card you choose, but if you've got many cards and are not sure what to send some ideas are:

- views from your city or country are always great!
- churches
- bicycles :D
- black-and-white scenes
- interesting architecture
- La Virgen de Guadalupe images
- vintage/retro advertisements
- vintage cards
- Eiffel Tower
- cards with foreign language
- art (especially Impressionism, Frida Kahlo, and Roy Lichtenstein)
- Rupert bear (UK cartoon)
- Gumby
- Miffy (Dutch illustration)
- dachshunds! ("weenie dogs")
- owls
- giraffes
- outer space/solar system/space travel images
- Bundesliga (especially Bayern München)
- Premier League (especially Chelsea)
- any cards related to the World Cup
- Würzburg, Germany (I used to live there, so it is special for me)
- Berlin (my favorite city to visit)
- Pantone color cards

Again, these are just suggestions, and if you don't have cards that match these ideas, it's ok. Send something that you have and that you think is nice. To me, Postcrossing is about connecting with others around the world, not demanding certain cards, etc.

I like it when people write a bit about themselves, what they enjoy, a greeting in their native language, something interesting about their culture, etc.

My native language is English, but feel free to write in German or Spanish. I love reading in foreign languages!

Cheers, and I look forward to your card :)

--Sherry
