Greetings from the Russian north! Welcome to the Obdorsk gymnasium’s postcrossing profile!

We’re the teachers and the students of the Obdorsk gymnasium based in Salekhard - the unique city located directly at the Arctic Circle. We pay special attention to international cooperation and our openness to the world. For that purpose our school enthusiastically cultivates an English-speaking environment. We watch English movies, make lapbooks and flash cards, practice journaling, make fun of English memes and send postcards, of course. Sometimes living in the Arctic region is tough, but our hobbies are the things that keep our hearts warm!
