Hi! My name is Cheryle and I live on the west side of Houston with my husband. I am 66 and my husband is 69 and we are both retired. I was an R.N. for 42 years and my husband worked for NASA as a pilot in the astronaut training program. I like to read, I am studying Spanish (which is coming along very slowly) I am starting to be involved in volunteering in my community, have several leads, but have only started volunteering in BigBrothers/BigSisters and have a little sister that I am mentoring. I was sick for the first two years of my retirement with multiple cases of pneumonia and two hip surgeries, so I have been slow at starting to get out in my community to volunteer.I like to go out to lunch every week with a girlfriend. My husband and I go to a taco chain called "Torchies Tacos" twice a week and meet friends there.
