Hello,my name is Bogdan and i am from Ploiesti,Romania.
I work as a reservoir engineer (oil and gas industry) and i live with my girlfriend and our several pets - a bunny called Doru and several siberian hamsters - which share peculiar names from the spices family (Dill, Parsley, Lovage and so on).
I enjoy a lot of stuff but i try to dedicate my free time to 2 main hobbies - culture (in all its forms) and nature.
I am a very curious person - so i tend to want to know a lot of stuff about anything which sounds appealing. I am nuts about science and history and i read a lot of magazines and internet articles to keep up with the latest news and discoveries. Some science branches i really enjoy are
- astronomy, space science, space technology - i grew up looking at the stars and the Moon and the planets
- archaeology, palaeontology, fossils, ancient history - everything that has deep roots in time, i am fascinated to find about relics or creatures that lived so far into the past that we cannot even comprehend the vastness of time
- anatomy, medical sciences, diseases, plagues, viruses etc. - in my adolescent time i wanted to follow a career in forensic sciences or surgery, but life had other plans for me. The curiosity still remains though.
- natural life, flora and fauna, evolution - i am sometimes overwhelmed by the number of species of animals and plants which share this planet with us. For me, humans are brutal intruders in this balanced environment.

I am also very attracted to reading books, either novels or poetry, does not matter. On my own, i write some stuff in my free time, mainly poetry, but recently i started writing other stuff as well.
Being attracted to wildlife and mountains, i am doing a lot of hiking when possible, with camping or not, where i can take a break from the chaotic city life.

If none of the things i described so far didn't help you pick a card for me, here's other things i like:
-rock music, jazz, classical music
-anything related to geology, petroleum industry (minerals, rocks, fossils, oil wells, oil platforms, technology used in oil industry , company logos, etc.)
-Star Trek-especially The Next Generation and Voyager series
-Lord of the Rings movies or books
-erotic art(classy, not porn) - don't be shy. Art takes so many shapes.
-sunsets, sunrises, landscapes
-mountains, peaks, cliffs and so on
-literature, writers, poems, books, libraries and so on
Anything else is welcomed.

You can write a random thought, a poem, something weird or creepy, a wish, anything. I would rather read something different than "Hi, i live in....bla bla".
I'm collecting stuff from all over the world so if you could send me a coin, old or present money, a bill, a ticket, anything to remind me of your postcard or your country.
Of course i am also very curious to find some common expressions in your native language.Or hey, maybe a small drawing, it doesn't have to be fancy!
