I live in the east of England, Suffolk, near Ipswich (ITFC till I die!), deep in the country. My house was built in the C16th when Henry VIII was king of England! It was once the house of the local blacksmith.
I love nature, sustainable living and communing with people from all different origins and backgrounds.
Any picture is fine with me; I am more interested in who is writing the card, your hopes for the future and what you love about where you live. We are feeling very bereft of continental friends here in the UK after leaving the EU!
The more I have become involved in post crossing the more I have been amazed and delighted to receive cards from those countries which are perceived as not quite up to scratch by those of us in the west. To learn that these places, especially in eastern Europe, are achieving far more than us in the west to maintain their traditions, culture and character is a wonderful revelation. Often, sending a card from the UK can mean not much more than describing our delight in rampant consumerism and loss of communal values.
