Hello world! I'm Patrick (29m), I have the current misfortune of being an American citizen. For all the troubles we're going through right now I do like living here! I live near Philadelphia, one of the major cities in the USA. I work as an online educator, and am currently in graduate school for plant science, and I have a dog that is Too Tall.

I have a variety of interests, including gardening, hiking, table top role playing (DND, etc.), and traveling! I love traveling and it's one of the things I miss most about the pre-COVID times. My most recent trip was to India and Nepal, and the coolest places I visited were Ireland and Palestine. I'd love to hear travel stories!

I'd love to receive postcards from pretty much anywhere! Feel free to share anything with me. Unfortunately I only speak English and some broken German and Irish, but I'd love to have an excuse to learn more languages!

I got interested in trading postcards after reading Going Postal by Terry Pratchett. That book also got me into collecting stamps, so send me some fun or weird stamps!
