Hello, my name is Tashina and I've heard about postcrossing from a close friend who recently joined. I'm not a "real" collector of postcards, but I tend to buy postcards I like at random or collect free cards available in the city with interesting or funny motives. They accumulate at home and I'd love to be able to send them to someone who might like them, that's why I thought postcrossing would be a great idea.

I studied Japanese at the university, so if you're from Japan, feel free to send me a card written in Japanese! I was in Matsumoto as an exchange student, so getting cards from there, maybe even GOTOCHI, would be amazing, but anywhere is fine really.

I love cards with art motives or nature, preferably single pictures. Cards from local, self-published (comic) artists would be highly appreciated. I would also very much love to get cards featuring space, black&white photography or vintage motives.

I think that being in contact with so many people from around the world is great, I've learned that through years of using the internet as a place to share my art - remembering that you are one of many human beings with the same thoughts, fears and hopes is an amazing and humbling feeling.
