About Maria...

Hi :)
I'm Maria. I live with my husband and three-year-old son in a village,
but my family town is Lublin, my beloved city, now around 40 km far away from my home. If you'll receive from me postcard with city views, it will probably be from Lublin, since of course my tiny village doesn't have interesting views. In here there are mostly trees and farmlands, and some ruins of abandoned buildings :) I love it, because I love to feel much space near me.
Before birth of my son I worked in a translation agency, although I studied publishing and still hope to work someday with literature and books. I'm a bookworm and peace lover, kinda solitary person. I love cats, tea and nature, big trees and panoramic views, open space and wind. I like to spend time by myself, riding a bike, writing, drawing.
(Of course, now with little child I don't have that much free time :D).
My favorite author is Tolkien. I think "The Silmarillion" is the greatest tale on Earth.

I would like to receive postcards with:
* cats (not only those tamed pets, but also big cats, like tigers, lions etc)
* wild birds
* books, papers, notebooks
* letters, fonts, typography
* art (drawings, paintings etc)
* Alfonse Mucha especially ;)
* tea, teapots
* houses, doors, windows
* landscapes
* sky: stars, moon, clouds
* Jetoy
* Moomins
* old style postcards & vintage, retro
* fairy tales
* Ghibli movies
* greetings from... by Postallove
* if you want to do some self-made - go on! :)
but I will be glad with any postcard you'll send to me.

It would be nice if you'll write something about you: what do you like, how are you, what do you want to do or what you do in your life right now :) Also I like very much to look on my name and address written by you, not just printed - it feels very special, when you put attention to words from foreign language for not losing any letter. Somehow it moves me.

You may write few words in your language, with english translation :)

Thank you and happy postcrossing!

P.S. If you sent a card that expired, let me know and I just register it for you.
