About Arie...

Hello dear Postcrosser, wherever you are....

My first name is Arie and I live in the western part of the Netherlands, nearby the North Sea coast. My wife and I are both Postcrossers and we like it a lot! PC gives a window to the world, says a lot about cultures and personalities and in the very first place: about yourself!
Here are some of my favorite themes, but - please - feel free to send me any card that you like to share with me:

* animals, butterflies and fish especially
* architecture, both of exteriors and interiors; modern and classic
* sports arenas, bridges, cathedrals
* sports of all kind, but Olympic games (Paris 2024!) and basketball especially
* Olympics Tokyo 2020/21 (!) and Winter Olympics 2022 of Beijing
* art, paintings
* stamps of classical music composers and/or works (n.b. Austria/Oesterreich 2021!)
* the United Kingdom, Poland, the Vatican, Turkey
* royal families
* city views
* beautiful, colourful stamps - please, add some extra if possible
* EUROPA -CEPE 2024 stamps re: underwater fauna

Please, try your best to find and put the Europa 2023 Peace/ Pace/ Frieden/Paix/La Paz stamp on the card or envelope! I still need Norway, Iceland, Greenland, Isle of Man, Andorra (french), Poland, Albania, Turkey!

And: Oh yeah, X-mas and year-end stamps are among my favourites also, so especially in December I like to receive the latest issues!

Nota bene: In 2024 also the European Championships Football will be held. So, no doubt, special issues of stamps will be done by a myriad of countries...I cannot wait receiving them! Thanks for your attention!

Wish you big fun with Postcrossing!

best - arie
