I joined this site because when a friend told me about it, the fact that someone I didn’t know, half way across the world was going out of their way to write and send me a postcard was completely intriguing. I thought I definitely need to be a part of this!

I am from Sri Lanka, but I was born and brought up in Oman after which I spent three years studying Architecture in Malaysia. Being a bit of a third culture kid I love traveling, meeting people from various parts of the world and learning a little bit about their life stories.
The things i love the most are art, architecture and food. So I’d adore postcards with native art,vintage pictures, architecture and cityscapes.
Also I am trying to put together a collection of marketplaces so I'd absolutely love it if you could send me a traditional/modern marketplace card from where you are!
I'd really appreciate cards of the above types. If you cant find any of the sort then something special from where you are from would be great as well.

I have three little requests;
* I’d love if you could maybe write a word or two for me in your language.
* Do write the date
* I am working on continuing my dad’s stamp collection that he put together when he was a child and it would be a dream to be able to get stamps from all over the world. So perhaps you could use an interesting stamp to add to my collection?
