It's so nice to meet you!
I am a Christian wife, mom, nana & schnauzer lover! I love people; learning about them, speaking with them, sharing stories, traditions & ideas. I'm a hopeless idealist. I think every person deserves to be seen, heard, loved & cared for. Peace, kindness & friendship - these are my desires.
When you write,
Please place the date on your card.
Tell me what's important to you, what makes you laugh or cry, what is troubling you, may I pray for you? Tell me about your day, your hopes, dreams & fears. Tell me about your country & how you feel about it. Tell me about your card, why you chose it & the meaning of pre-printed, non-English words (translation). If you can't think what to write, go here: (http://www.postcrossing.com/help/what-should-i-write-on-the-postcard)
My husband Don is a kind, caring & funny man. He's also my best friend! We enjoy spending time together. We are both retired — he after a long military career, & me from my role as a nurse practitioner. We have 3 children.
We enjoy Postcrossing together. I choose the cards & write them, while he addresses, stamps & mails them. We enjoy being in it together.
We have a standard schnauzer named Zoe Mae. She is pepper & salt in color. She keeps us on our toes and laughing out loud! She's a silly, wonderful girl & a huge blessing to our lives!
With these exceptions, I enjoy most cards:
Nakedness, erotic, pin-ups, rude, unkind, free, or online cards. Thank you for your kindness in not sending these to me.
I have no list of specific cards, though I would love something from my favorites (if you go to my favorites & look under your country you will see I have a healthy "hoping for" list). If you send me one of hoped for (fav's) cards please let me know so I can remove it from my list. I don't really like cards of buildings. An envelope is not necessary unless you wish to include one.
Thank you so much for making your card special, & thank you for reading my profile!
In our world there are many children fighting incurable illnesses, my grandson is one. Some kind words and cheerful thinking does wonders & can make them forget for a time. So, if you have postcards & stamps, & are willing to make some kids day, choose a name and address on http://www.sendkidstheworld.com. I'm certain it will be appreciated.
Please pray for my husband who fell from a ladder August 21, 2017, suffering serious trauma to his right lower leg. His recovery will be long & arduous.
I wish you peace.
