About Anastasia...

I am a student in the history department at the university, before studying at the college of architecture and construction. I work as an editor.

For me postсrossing is a special form of communication. Send a postcard to the other end of the world and bring a smile to a stranger, and then also get a "hello" with a randomly selected point on the globe - it's gorgeous!

I would be happy to get any card, if it says something important to you and with some mood - please send written and stamped postcards!

Especially I would be happy to get:

- street art!
- mythology and folklore of different countries
- archaeology, antiquities, tribal art
- cards inspired literary works
- psychological portrait or scene
- cards made of unusual materials, mail art cards
- maxicards
- historical cards
- illustrations
- alphabet
- ethnic photo (clothes, traditions, dances etc.)
- painted architecture
- schemes, plans (especially cathedrals plans), maps
- wrought-iron street lamp
- traditional games (including children's)
- traditional ornaments and patterns
- trolls
- сastles
- knights, medieval heraldry, etc.
- astronomy
- old/unusual bicycles
- mechanisms

Also I'll be happy to get any postcard from my favorites.

Part of my childhood I spent in India, so I will be very glad to Hindus and postcards reflecting the Indian tradition and lifestyle.

Whatever you chose and sent to me - thank you! :)

P.S. If you do not know what to write
- you can draw the cat that walked by himself! (I mean wordplay like that: http://tinyurl.com/p3wee2z)
- you can quote part of a poem, song, story, which supplements postcard
- you can tell me more about what it depicts
- share your mood, impressions, memories
- maybe you collect something unusual? (by the way, I collect ABC books from different countries and national toys :)
- everything that comes into your head (as akyns - "I sing what I see").
