My name is Maja and I'm a psychology student. I live in Gdynia with my tortoise and my dog and I really love my city and the seaside. I am a bookworm and I love watching films. My faves are: Harry Potter, The Witcher, Game of thrones, Disney animated classics, Tim Burton's work, 1992 Dracula and anything horror or thriller.
I enjoy exploring foreign cultures, cuisines and languages - currently learning Norwegian and Russian and I've recently picked up Spanish. I'm Roman Catholic and I hope that I'm a good representation of my faith. My favourite colours are purple, green, black and pink

I love riddles so if you know a fun riddle I'd love to read it! If you speak Russian or Norwegian well, please share an idiom or a proverb with me! I have seen over 600 horror movies, so share some underrated gems or films in languages other than English, if you're also a fan of thrill. My favourite villains are Freddy Krueger and Chucky.

Slovakia - Summer 2023!

I like most kinds of postcards:
tourist cards,
folk cards,
religious cards (even non Roman Catholic)
cards connected with films / music,
book-themed,
with villains/characters from movies or books,
anything horror,
postcards with propaganda posters,
with pugs, penguins/birds and tortoises/reptiles.
The only theme that I don't really enjoy is cats with an exception of Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland or any other book/movie cat. Don't feel pressured because I appreciate all postcards and receiving one is always a thrill for me. I love postcrossing because it helps me connect with people from places that I haven't visited yet and it helps me fight my inner saboteur.
I am looking forward to postcrossing with you. :D

Note: I upload an image of every single card that i receive. It may be a day or two after registering because my scanner sometimes cannot scan a card properly so I need to use another one.
