About Rolf...

Greetings from Canada! I enjoy receiving postcards from all around the world! If truth be told, I also enjoy sending postcards as much as receiving them.

Some of my favourite types of postcards would include the following:

- film / movie posters
- famous people
- musical singers / groups
- national airlines / airplanes
- pulp fiction / mystery book covers
- pin-ups / pop icons
- national flags
- vintage / reproductions
- hometown tourist sites

You can share something about your city/town/village and/or country. Tell me something unique and special about where you live?

You could also let me know about some of your likes and dislikes.

I enjoy travelling, reading (especially mysteries), photography, canoeing, table tennis, nature hikes, tropical flowers, camping, fishing, playing the guitar, blues music, cooking and collecting postcards, world stamps and seashells.! I truly dislike frigid winter temperatures of -35 C. or colder!

If you want to send the postcards in an envelope, that's just fine with me. For the most part, postcards that are sent in envelopes are usually less damaged. In addition, there is less chance of having the black ink of the postmark soak through and ruin the image of the postcard. This has happened several times lately, so placing the cards in an envelope will hopefully prevent this from happening in the future!

In addition, since I enjoy collecting stamps, it's far easier to remove stamps from envelopes than postcards.

All types of commercially purchased postcards would be just fine but AD CARDS or HOMEMADE POSTCARDS are not appreciated. Neither are GREETINGS CARDS posing as postcards. (After all, this is a website where people exchange real postcards)

Looking forward to receiving your postcard! All the best from Canada!!
