Hello! My name is Monika, I am 61 years old and I live with my husband in Altmünster in Upper-Austria. Our 2 sons ( 29 and 31 years old ) do not live at home anymore.
15 years ago I read about the idea of postcrossing in my daily newspaper, and now I must say, it was one of the best things I`ve ever read! I really love postcrossing! I love it to get a card and I love it just the same way to get a mail "Hurray, your card has arrived...".
These are the favourite postcards I would like to receive: city views ( by day or by night),
tourist attractions, famous places, four seasons, waterfalls,
lighthouses, castles, windmills, winter-scenery, foggy landscape, maps, Scandinavian motives ( for example red houses, northern lights,...), nutcrackers ( the figures ), children, kittens, birds ( penguins, puffins, owls,...), reindeer and mooses, squirrels, kangaroos, koalas, giraffes, Scottish Highland cattle, the pictures of Rolf Lidberg, Raija Nokkala, Minna Immonen and Lisi Martin, gnomes by Lennart Helje and Harald Wiberg,... and in December you would make me very happy with a Christmas-card.
