Welcome everybody,
I"m Monika, I"m 54. I live in Będzin in Poland with my husband, and 2 cats. I" m psychologist and mediator.

I am shocked by the war in Ukraine.I help as a volunteer, give gifts, bring help as I can. My heart cannot stand the sight of children and women running away from bombs, rockets and tanks with one suitcase. I would like to say to all Russians - STOP IT, RIGHT NOW !
How can I enjoy my daily trinkets during the war, right next to my country's borders?

But in a world without war I like good books , good movies and music ( I prefer music of the 80s, chillout, smooth jazz ).
I enjoy reading and writing - so ,if you want you can write to me - I'll answer;-)
I think postrcrossing is a great opportunity to meet new friends from all over the world;-)
I tend to prefer :
- something specific/ unique /mysterious to your country,
- wild Animals from your country
- national holidays/carnival, customs, rituals,
- people in/with traditional costumes or accessories,
- doors, houses , lighthouses,
- castles, bridges,
- mailboxes,
- black/white ( Moments of Colour - will be nice),
- Inge Look - old ladies
- Virpi Pekkala - will be nice,
- postcard from movies ex. GoT and Harry Potter, O07, Star Wars
- Keep Calm and .....:)

I think that in these difficult times of the pandemic, everyone needs a moment of joy - even at the sight of a surprise postcard.I am grateful for each postcard because it gives me joy and hope.

I really don`t want unwritten postcards. Please tell me something about you, your town and your life or the books you read or whatever you want:)
