Hello!

I'm Monica, from Adelaide, Australia. I love travelling and always send lots of postcards to my friends and family while I'm away. (The profile photo is of me writing postcards while I was in Morocco!) I'm staying at home for a while, so I joined Postcrossing to receive postcards from other places and send them to new places. I also think the art of letter-writing is being lost in the digital age, and I love that there are other people still into sending old-fashioned hand-written snail mail.

I'm interested in things that are unique or peculiar to your town or city. Tell me what you love about where you're living, maybe a little bit about yourself, what your favourite local food is, what you did on the day you sent the postcard etc.

I like postcards with:
- pictures by local artists
- interesting monuments or buildings
- beautiful landscapes and scenery
- local food and recipes
- local dress and customs
- beautifully painted tiles
- interesting fabric, patterns and designs

No advertising postcards please.

Please write the date and put the stamp on the postcard, not in an envelope.
