Hello!

I graduated a little over a year ago from a small liberal arts college where I achieved degrees in English, Theatre and Spanish. I am also interested in History and Art. Right now I am working as a nanny and stage manager in small, theatres in Chicago and I am very happy! I have been writing letters and postcards since I was very young and love love love sending and receiving mail.

I hope to receive a variety of postcards, but I really enjoy:

- Theatre or Literature-related cards
- Black and White cards
- Pictures of James Stewart (my favorite actor!)
- Art or artistic designs
- Typewriters
- Umbrellas or Rain
- TOTORO!
- Snowy winterscapes of your town or city or country, if they exist
- Old-time movies or movie stars
- Bold and Color-filled cards with lots of wonderful, beautiful, intricate detail in them

**I've received a lot of multi-view cards so I would prefer something different. Also, I don't really like Ad cards, unless they are vintage.**

I love color and poetry and prose. People have told me that I was born in the wrong decade and that the 1920s, 1940s or 1950s would have suited me quite well. I would love to hear stories from all over the world! And jokes! Or maybe your favorite song! Or poem! I'm more interested in what's on the back of the card, so please tell me something wonderful about your life or your day. I would love it if you took advantage of the fact that the small square of space on the back of a postcard deserves something clever, or interesting or funny or secret.

I've been starting to look through the endless galleries at postcards to build a collection of ones that are my favorites, so if you want to look at them for ideas, go for it!

I would appreciate it if you would put the date on your card!
