Greetings from Calgary, Alberta, Canada!

I was born and raised here but am of Swedish descent.
My husband and I have a german shepard dog and three kitties (one of them is in my profile picture).

Currently my favorite pastimes include: Reading, camping, biking, gardening, hanging out with my furry critters, and sending postcards. Although I'm not very creative I enjoy looking at books/magazines of interior design and decoration as well as home organization. This inspires me to make my home comfortable, beautiful, and unique. Handicrafts, homemade decorative objects, and items being re-purposed for other uses are on my radar right now as well.

My first language was swedish and I studied french throughout grade school and part of university. Feel free to write your message in swedish, french, and of course english. I also love to read other languages (but would appreciate a translation to go along with it).

Here are some ideas of cards I would love to receive, but please don't feel that you have to send something from this list:

-scenes from your city/country
-map cards
-pets/wildlife/farm animals
-gardens/flowers/trees/plants(cactus and succulents are my favorite right now)
-cartoons/funny cards (racy or adult-themed cards are fine)
-home interiors/home design
-handicrafts/decorations/beads/yarn, etc. (colorful ones are nice)
-boats and/or water scenes
-chocolate
-Buddha images/statues
-beaches
-cars (new, old, doesn't matter)

The message you write is just as important as the picture. Even if you don't feel like writing much just writing a line or two would be nice. You could write about what you are doing today, what kind of pet you have and it's name, or one interesting fact about your city or country (or yourself for that matter).
