Hello my Postcrossing-friends! Greetings from Finland! My name is Sisko. I'm a middle-aged woman and I live in southern Finland. The town is called Hämeenlinna.It's a beautiful town with an old castle and arounded with lakes and parks. Hämeenlinna is situated 100 kilometers to the north from Helsinki. I live with my husband and one of my sons.My oldest son lives in Turku,which is situated on the southwest coast of Finland. We visit often him.We have also a dog called Tuikku. She is 8 years old and her breed is Mittelspitz. (You can see her in the photo of my profile).

I work as a day care worker in a kindergarten,because I like children,it is very nice and interesting to work with them. I've been doing this job for over 30 years.My hobbies are walking with our dog, geocaching, listening to music,going to concerts,photographing and travelling.I have always wanted to study different languages at school for over 30 years ago.But I'm still interested in languages and that's why I started postcrossing,so I can try to use languages.This hobby is so fascinating! Postcrossing is a way of staying connected to the outside world to me!

I would like to receive postcards from all over the world! I really appreciate any postcard you send me.It would be nice if you tell me something about your country or yourself.I'm interested of knowing about different cultures.

I'd like to learn some new words and phrases,so please write me a little in your own language with English translation. You can also write me in French,German or Swedish and you can decorate your card with stickers if you want.
