I'm Lizzy and I live in Colorado with 12-year-old cat, Bocelli. He is a tabby and likes to meow a lot. His hobbies include knocking things off of tables, laying in the walkway, and meowing.

I work as a paramedic.

I'm originally from the southern US and have been in Colorado for 7 years. I love living in the mountains because I get to experience all four seasons. It snows a lot in the winter, but is rarely dreary. The springs and falls are stunning, and summers are manageable, with hot days and cold nights.

I enjoy snowboarding and skiing. I like road-tripping around the southwestern US and going to National Parks and museums.

I am a home cook and enjoy trying new recipes and documenting my cooking and baking on instagram. I love reading cookbooks and learning about local recipes. If you know of a recipe you think I should check out, let me know!

My main hobby is my houseplants. I like propagating and sharing the cuttings with my friends and family. My favorite is a thanksgiving cactus I inherited from my great-grandmother.

I enjoy tourist postcards, especially if there is a short description of the site on the back or some facts about the city or country.
