If you had to describe in 25 words (or more!) the most interesting thing about your town's history, or what it's like to live there now, or what makes you tick, what would you write? That's what would make me (and my mailbox) the happiest! In English is fine, aber auf Deutsch, en français, en castellano/español, 日本語で are all fine too. If you write em português, in het Nederlands, in italiano, на български, or 中文 one of us will make a good guess at what you wrote :-) And if you could teach me a few words of čeština, that would be great!

About me: I like classical and traditional music (especially string instruments), origami and other math-related art, exercising in the outdoors, genealogy, knitting, cats, owls, ceramics, chocolate, languages and learning about interesting (or not!) places everywhere.

Special request for German bakers: if you have a recipe for Bienenstich that you particularly like, I would love it if you would share it with me!

Really, any card with lots of insightful observations will make me very happy! But check out the favorites on my postcrossing virtual wall if you want to try to find a card that will go up on the real wall in my house.

Although most ad cards are not that interesting to me, if you have one from a restaurant you like to go to, that would definitely pique my interest.
