It'll be nice to receive postcards related to following subjects:

everything connected with the history of your country;
Ancient Greece, Egypt, Mesopotamia, Ancient Rome;
art from the Upper Palaeolithic to Salvador Dali's;
history of aviation and fleet;
history of war;
maps;
the North;
theatre;
ethnic clothes;
wild animals and nature
...

It'll be great to receive postcards in your native language (and especially in that languages I'm studying - German, French, Italian). It'll be nice, if you write at least one sentence in your native language with translation.

In fact, it can be any kind of postcard. Most of all I prefer the postcards that illustrate specificity of the country it was sent from.
