About Jo-Anne...
Hello there,
Some people can get confused with my home add: which is number 31, instead of it been number 37, which isn't hard to confuse. So just to let u all know my street number is thirty-one. :)
Hi! My name is Jo-Anne (jo)& i am 33yrs old. How the years fly by since leaving highschool. I also volunteer my spare time at an 'Info/Tourism' cottage at Strathpine on a Saturday. I absolutely love it & enjoy meeting people from all different walks of life. We also tend to get alot of 'Germans' coming into the centre & we can help them out with brochures on different places to visit.
I also help out with a playgroup called 'Mainly Music' on a Friday morning with my Church family. It is a new thing that our church is doing to try to reach out to the local community. I am enjoying it so much & it has opened up doors & I am also getting to know people in my church that I usually don't really have alot to do with.
Another big aspect of my life is my church that I attend. I am heavily involved in the worship Team (singing) during the service.Very friendly, excepting, caring, group of Christians. Have a brand new Minister & so many things are happening there. Another wedding in the new year in 2016!!! Alot of new faces are coming along which is always great to see :)
Our gorgeous dog 'Millie-Rose' is a big part of the family as well. Her breed is a 'Staffy-Cross/Kelpie' dog, but she is more 'Staffy' than anything else. Loves her walks in the park & around our neighbourly area too. Millie - Rose is always on 'Cat & Possum' patrol duty at night. She never kills them, just protecting her territory so to speak. Staffy's are known to be talkers, & she will let you know when she wants something etc: a walk or a juicy bone.
Enjoy postcrossing very much, love getting postcards from around the world. Especially like the animal postcards etc: especially dogs & other furry animals. I also like beautiful Roses, flowers, etc. Anything to do with Christianity as well. Love the stamps as well. My Dad is a 'Stamp Dealer' & collects stamps as well. Always looking for pen-pals from other countries...if people are interested :)
Well I'd better go then,
Look forward to your postcards in our letter-box....coming soon!!!
Cheers, from Jo-Anne.
