About Melanie...

Hi

I am Melanie, living and working in Oslo, Norway. I was born and raised in Switzerland though and have been living in Norway since 1998.
I love to travel and see new parts of the world. I like to learn about new countries and cultures. This is also why I like to recieve postcards from all over the world.

My favourite cardmotives?
- Landscapes and cityviews from your town/city/country
- UNESCO and other historical sites
- Mountains, lakes, forests
- Autumnleaves/Winterlandscape
- Cherryblossoms
- Sunset/Sunrise
- Animals from your country (especially wolves, foxes, tigers, zebras, donkeys and birds)
- Cowboys/Cowgirls
- Coffee/Tea
- Romantic motives, also gay related
- Books/reading/letters/mailboxes/mail
- Greetings from... countries
(Missing: Argentina, Barbados, Bulgaria, Chile, Cyprus, Egypt, Equaor, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Morocco, Pakistan, Philippines, Peru, Romania, South Africa, Tajikistan, Equador, Ukraine,)
- Greetings from... US States (Vintage)
- Historical motives (especially Titanic)
- Doctor Who and Torchwood
- Marvel / DC
- Star Wars / Star Trek

I think I just stop here. They are only ideas for you, but generally I just like getting postcards, no matter what they show. I am glad for every one I get. So just send me one you think I might like =)
Just one thing, please no advertising Cards, exept when they fit my wishes. I am spending much time to find a card that suits your wishes, so I hope, you will consider the same!

I don't really collect stamps, but I do appreciate nice stamps as well. If possible, I like the cards written and stamped, so no envelope please if you can avoid it. Of course some cards require an envelope, and that's okay.

If you're interested in a penpal from Norway, please let me know :) I would like to learn more from people and their culture than what fits on a postcard.

I am really looking forward to your postcards - they make my day. Happy postcrossing!

Melanie

I am really sorry, but I have to stop direct swaps. I received so many requests, I just can't keep up. But if you have a special wish from Oslo or Norway in general or if you think you have a card I might like, don't hesitate to contact me =)
