I am employed with a major U.S. trucking company, storing shipment paperwork and related documents using a computer. Also there's part-time work some mornings stocking shelves-for a nationally-known pet supplies store.

Life happens in Springdale, which is in northwest Arkansas. Originally from South Dakota. Time has been spent in Denver, Colorado and the Chicago, Illinois area.

NW Arkansas is a combination of urban, small town, and rural with much natural beauty. Despite Arkansas' reputation culturally and politically, there are a good deal of decent people due in part to a major university in the area.

Walmart's home office is located in NW Arkansas. With all the concerns and issues of the humongous and invasive company, having it here is a good thing. The business provides jobs both within the company and by the various companies working with Walmart. And brings in people from around the world to live/experience the area, and that cultural contact is a big bonus.

The NW Arkansas area is within a day's driving distance-to the state capital of Little Rock plus Tulsa,Oklahoma/Kansas City, Missouri and Memphis/Tennessee.

Happy PostCrossing!
