About Mary...
I'm a writer and mentor in Inman, South Carolina, originally from Ohio.
I like bridges, highways, rivers, lakes, and islands. Also farm scenes: barns, tractors, fields, donkeys, goats, sheep. Also art, handmade cards, photograph cards that you've taken yourself, and regular tourist postcards. I'm also fond of camels and native plants and animals. My favorite flowers: tulip, iris, wildflowers.
Be assured that I will appreciate card you might send. The joy, after all, is in the connecting.
Today I read the blog post about the Postcrossing Quilt and, in the comments, saw that people are using embroidery, crochet, quilting, collage, and other craft techniques in many ways that celebrate Postcrossing. I, too, would like to make a Postcrossing quilt, so if you'd like to send a small bit of fabric, I'll make good use of it.
I also thought it would be fun to connect with other Postcrossers who are doing postal crafting so I opened a Facebook group called Postcrossing Crafts. To kick it off, I'll send you a bit of postal-stamp fabric if you join the group and send me a Facebook message with your address.
