Hello! I live in Chicago, Illinois in the USA. I grew up in sunny California! I love reading, calligraphy and hand lettering, cooking, sunshine, large bodies of water, writing letters and making cards, traveling (I've been to Mexico, Italy, Switzerland, Israel, Egypt, and South Korea so far), watching live music, hiking and the outdoors, ice cream, and floppy-eared dogs — especially beagles, basset hounds, and dachshunds. I recently started graduate school and will be receiving my Masters in Counseling and Student Affairs.

I love sending and receiving mail of all types, and I especially love postcards. (I work at a stationery store.) I was thrilled to learn of Postcrossing's existence. I love:
+ vintage & old postcards (the older the better)
+ postcards with your home language with fun phrases or quotes
+ anything with trees or mountains
+ Flowers and fields of flowers
+ National parks & landmarks
+ Space/astronauts/planets/stars
+ typography, letterpress, screenprinting, letters, numbers, or symbols
+ really silly postcards, or strange/weird/obscure cards
+ postcards with artwork and illustration
+ staircases
+ old movie posters
+ hedgehogs, foxes, owls, peacocks
and really any kind of postcard! I will be so happy to have anything find my mailbox and make it a happy mailbox day.

My biggest question for anyone I meet from another country, or anyone who speaks more than one language: In which language do you dream?
