About michaelclap...

Hello! My name is Michael. I live in a city called Remscheid with my wife (she is from Belarus) who is also on Postcrossing and whom I met this way. It is near Cologne - where the famous Cologne Cathedral is.

In 2014/2015 I lived in Trieste and Perugia in Italy for a while, learned the language and got to know many people from different countries.

It's great to travel and find out facts about other countries and cultures so I'd be glad if you'd tell me a bit about your country/region.

I like writing different kinds of texts - I do also write poems - languages, traveling, music, tennis, running, being outside, photography, and rediscovered biking.

I like postcards of extraordinary landscapes, original places and of cities in general. I'd also welcome something about cars (also taxis since I used to work as taxi driver) or typical sports of yours (I'm most into tennis/soccer). Comic books (Donald Duck etc.), animals (I like birds of prey a lot - especially the bald eagle and all kinds of eagles -, lions, bears, cats, dogs), musicians and instruments (Bruce Springsteen!), movies, fantasy (like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter), the ocean, sunsets, fireworks, city maps, subway maps. Poems and quotes are welcome too.

If you like, add some common words in your own language or dialect. I'd appreciate that. You can also write the postcard completely in one of the languages I understand.

Besides, I'm happy for each one just as it comes.

PS:
If you like write a version of this saying in your mother tongue or one you master very well on the postcard. That would be amazing :)

"The mouth does only speak a universal language, if it knows how to tell the difference between speech and silence, right actions and useless ones and does not deal with things it cannot handle."
