About miaowella...

Hi, my name is Ella. I’m from Taipei, Taiwan.

I usually watch films or Japanese dramas in my leisure time. Besides, I also read comics or mystery, detective novels. Occasionally, I'm in the mood to enjoy drawing, sewing, carving rubber stamps or doing handicrafts, such as bags, book covers. If postcrossers who like hand-made cards, maybe I would send my stamp postcard to you.

I love to go to foreign country. Therefore, I wish I could travel abroad once a year. While traveling, I like to buy postcards with famous scenic spots or something representative of the places I visited because those postcards remind me of the wonderful experience of trips.

Since I couldn't go to as many countries as I wish, I could receive postcards from somewhere in the world through postcrossing. It’s an amazing idea for me to receive all kinds of beautiful and special postcards. Therefore, I'm looking forward to having a postcards gallery, seeing different scenery in the world and collecting various postcards.

My favorite postcard theme is cute, funny or beautiful illustration.
Furthermore, I also like postcards showing
hot-air balloons
owls
hedgehogs
illustrations of Children's books
Old Ladies from Finnish illustrator Inge Löök
covers of magazines or books
animations of Studio Ghibli or Pixar
shaped cards especially ご当地フォルムカード(Regional Form Cards from Japan)
posters of movies or TV Play (Harry Potter, Marvel series, Kingsman, Grey's Anatomy, Prison Break...)
baby animals
Western paintings
watercolor paintings
Halloween
Christmas
etc...

However, I think every postcard has its own meaning. If you don't have any postcard in my favorite list, you can send me anyone you like.

I've learned Japanese for several years. For postcrossers who are from Japan or could write Japanese, please writing something in Japanese on the postcard. It would be great for me to keep learning Japanese.

Thank you in advance for sending me a postcard. (^▽^)

Happy postcrossing!
