my name is Jörg and I live in Potsdam, the state capital of Brandenburg in Germany.
I saw a television report about postcrossing and was inspired immediately. My hobbies are family research, photography, travelling, hiking, geocaching and graphic arts and crafts and I collect bottle openers.

I'm currently working on our family history and am currently evaluating many old postcards written by my ancestors. That's very interesting. I think we should all write a lot more postcards. Postcards outlast time. SMS and Whatsapp messages don’t.

I am an ambitious amateur photographer. Therefore I accept your own very special photos as postcards. You are welcome to send me your most beautiful, oldest or most interesting self-made photo. Write me why it's so special. Or send me a portrait photo of you as postcard. I am curious when I will receive the first. ;o)

In particular if you live in or nearby a place or a town called "Potsdam", I am interested very much in a postcard from there.
Of course I will send you a reply card. from Potsdam to Potsdam. ;o)

Anyway, I'm happy about every single card.

I register every postcard on the same day on which I get it.
