hi all:
my name is Yasmine abed,My birthdate is August 6,1981 so next month I'm turning 31 but depending on when you read this you can update knowing the year in case I didn't! Lol:) I'm Egyptian from Cairo, the capital of Egypt, my home is in a new area in it called 6 of october city. I actually live and work in Kuwait now with my husband and 2 kids, but we come to spend the summer in Egypt :) so I consider myself living in both countries:)
i've been penpalling since i was 12 ,but have stopped for a while after high school,and returned back to it later and continued ever since :)
i've found out about postcrossing through 2 of my penpals and i'm really enjoying being a member in such a beautiful project that connects all the world together:)
i love collecting and swapping postcards with friends from all over the world,it's so interesting it makes you feel as if you've visited that place even if for a split of a second!
i have many hobbies,from which are reading(i'm a book-worm especially historical romance novels and time travel ones that go back in time as well as paranormal romance:))
i love cooking ( if you ever visit you'll enjoy good food!) I love photography,handcraft canava,watching movies,going to the cinema,correspondence,collecting postcards,stamps,coins,stickers,....actually i collect anything cute enough to be collected..LOL..
I have been married since 2004 and I have 2 blessings:) a daughter and a son and my family is the most important part of my life, I work in the American international school in Kuwait and I love my work cause I actually enjoy being around kids ,they are the best thing in life:)
however,hope that it will work for me and i can have manyyyyyyyyy postcards and friends through postcrossing. greetings from Egypt to all the members of postcrossing!
