A warm-hearted welcome to my postcrossing profile. ♥

Let me briefly introduce myself to you.
My name is Melanie but you can also call me Mel.
I'm from Southern Germany and I live at the border to Switzerland and in the very near to Alsace, France.
Currently, I am twenty-five years old. I'm vegan, an antiquarian book and old things lover, bibliophile and a daydreamer. Music: Old Jazz, Blues and gramophone recordings. My favourite season is by far the beuatiful autumn. In our garden, we have various wild birds and I adore to feed and harbour them. Therefore I enjoy everything about birds (odd birdwatcher).

Postcrossing is a wonderful way to connect with interesting and lovely people from everywhere.
In a world full of technology, it is a pleasure to receive a classical handwritten letter and postcard. There's so much more character, effort and soul to it.
For me, every single postcard is like a treasure chest. No, even better! It is always surprising and you never know what you're going to receive.
I'll keep them safely as long as possible.

Book and music recommendations are also really great and much appreciated!
As well as photos, tickets in any form (like train, cinema, theater..) and old, new and self-made bookmarks because I always need one. But these are all just ideas!
