my name is Marlou, i'm 24 and from the Netherlands.
i'm a master student in journalism, who's currently doing her internship in a Dutch travel magazine. i hope to be able and live from writing one day and secretly dream of becoming a travel journalist. until then, i daydream about all the places i receive postcards from :)

‣ …children book illustrations ~ like Moomin, Krtek the mole and Jip & Janneke, but everything (un)famous (from your country) is very welcome!,

‣ …illustrations ~ especially mail themed ones, illustrated maps, and illustrations of owls, type writers or deer,

‣ …anything language related,

‣ …small games like Where is Wally / Waldo?, Lali (www.lali.fr),

‣ …everything that "colors the street" ~ i really enjoy yarn bombing, (pretty) graffiti and everything that makes the world a little happier place. nice doors as well! i really enjoy seeing what doors look like in different countries and cities.

‣ …food & baked goods, especially if it includes the recipe.

it would be lovely if you'd write a little more than 'Happy postcrossing!' - you could for example...
- tell me a dream of yours,
- write a top 3 of things i HAVE to do when visiting your hometown (i enjoy cute little cafés with good cakes, special museums, small concert venue and pretty parks),
- write a list of things that make you smile, the things in your bag or the things you did today,
- share your favorite recipe.
