Hello! I'm a grad student in linguistics at the University of Oregon; I design and run experiments on undergrads to explore how people learn and store language, particularly sound-meaning patterns. I teach English to international students at the university, which is a lot of fun––I get to meet great people and learn about different cultures!

I love food, travel, crafting (crocheting and cross stitch are my primary choices), and sleep. And tea! And bright colors and yarn and bunnies and chinchillas and babies and soft fuzzy socks and language and the ocean and Parks and Rec and cucumbers and using lots of words.

Any postcards you want to send me will be wonderful, though I'm particularly interested in views of your local city/country! I love learning and practicing languages, so if you know any of the languages I understand (German, Spanish, Turkish), feel free to write to me in them. If you speak another language, I would love to learn some! (You could include a funny word, or something you think would be useful if I visited, or your favorite word, or whatever you like!)
