I'm interested in receiving mail from exotic locations. Obviously!

If you're stuck for what to write about, tell me about the news. What's in the news in your country/area/city? Do you have an opinion? I'm interested because quite often what's a big story in your location might not be in mine.

I also read/write Japanese and Chinese. Often people from Japan or China don't read this part of my profile, and write in English. In the next two paragraphs, I'm going to explain in those two languages that people should feel free to write in those languages. So excuse me for a second.

日本語でもOKですよ！なに書けばいいか分からなかったら、最近のニュースを教えて下さい。国際的な話題ではなくて、自分の都府県のお願いします。

我中文看得懂！如果不知道该写什么的话，请给我介绍你住的城市最近的新闻。否则的话，请介绍自己/家人说的话，是标准普通话吗？国语？方言？长辈口音是不是不一样？等等：）

Often people have long lists of types of postcards that they like to receive. Usually I don't have the kind that they like, so I feel bad about sending something that isn't on their list.

So I'll say that I will like anything that you send, but if you have a choice between a card about a historical place, and one on a different subject, I'd prefer the historical one. The same with stamps.
