Hi, My name is Matt! I live in the suburbs of Chicago with my parents and my dog.

I am a School Social Worker at two elementary (primary) schools in the far Northwestern suburbs of Chicago. I have a Master of Social Work degree, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Sociology.

I collected postcards for seven years, and then sold my very large collection. I now regret selling them, if I could re-do my decision, I would have kept them. Oh well, you live and learn, I guess.

In June of 2015, seven years after I sold my original collection, I began collecting postcards again.

I am so glad to be collecting postcards again, and I'm equally thrilled to have stumbled upon Postcrossing. I think it is a truly great site!
