Hi! I'm Mary.

I recently moved to Houston, Texas. I used to be a children's librarian, but now I work in an independent bookstore.

I enjoy documentary photography, reading, collage art, good beer and wine, hiking, camping, nature, and cooking. I have an 11-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Mavis. She's a very good dog and might appreciate some well wishes from around the world :)

My dreams:
- Open a children's bookstore inside a double-decker bus. I'd sell postcards too, of course.
- Hike the Pacific Crest Trail or Appalachian Trail
- Visit all 62 National Parks in the U.S. (even the remote parks in Alaska!)

In addition to traditional view cards, I love children’s book illustrations, botanical and zoological drawings, succulents and cacti, dogs (especially corgis), raccoons, possums, cute mice, books, Magnum photographers and other famous photojournalists, National Parks, gnomes, kings & queens, fairy tales, food and recipes (especially CHEESE!), Great British Bake-Off, Liverpool FC, Harry Potter, Snoopy and Charlie Brown, Hello Kitty, The Simpsons, Animal Crossing and Nintendo, anything out of the ordinary.

I’m happy to receive any card from you! I’m just excited to see a glimpse of your life. I love mail art, so if you’d like to write a letter, that would be nice, too!

Tell me about your favorite place to travel, what you ate for breakfast, or what you did today. I also love snacks and trying new international foods - what’s your favorite snack from your country? Maybe I can try it!

I also enjoy music and would love it if you'd tell me about your favorite song or musician.
