About Ro-anne...

I'm a confused millennial struggling to find what I really want to do in life while mixing chemicals in the lab. I'm a licensed chemist that have a love-hate relationship with chem.

If you can speak a different language other than English, I would like it if you can write in your own language and put the translation at the bottom or anywhere that it can fit so I can understand it. This is not required though.

You can share your activities; stories like a grandfather or grandmother would share to their grandchildren whether it is mythical or something passed down in your family. Though I don't like scary stories. You can share a short poem by an author from your country and what the poem means to you or how you understand it. Again, if the poem can be in your language other than English, I'd prefer that with the English translation.

I love beautiful stamps and quality postcards so I'd appreciate it very much to receive such item from you... I love quality paper (not scented)!!!

Here is a list of postcards you can send if you can but don't limit yourself to these.

Serene scenery (e.g. mountain, field or beach)
Architectural masterpiece or any related to the field of architecture
Old photographs showcasing the history of your country. Preferably in sepia or black and white.
Illustrations (e.g. Women in Science) or vintage illustrations (e.g. plants, animals)

This is a bit demanding but if you have the resources to spare I would love to receive Disney, Pixar, HARRY POTTER related postcards.

The Art of Disney: The Golden Age (1937-1961)
The Art of Disney: The Renaissance and Beyond (1989 - 2014)
The Art of Pixar: 100 Collectible Postcards
The Art of Pixar, Volume II: 100 Collectible Postcards

If you love making the postcard yourself - your own drawing or illustration, and as long as it's made thoughtfully, I'd appreciate that just the same. However, I'll be very sad to receive a sloppy postcard.

Please do not send me any ad card. It voids the essence of why we indulge ourselves in activities such as postcrossing.

I'm looking forward to receiving your postcard!

Ro-anne
