Hi. I'm Mark. I am a retired IT Consultant. I live in Marino, Dublin, Ireland, with my wife. We have three children, two girls and a boy. We also have a holiday home in Brittany, France, which we live in for two months every year (June and September). I am a member/fan of Bohemian FC. and Chairman of my local Residents Association.

I am interested in travel, cinema, sport and music. I love to attend operas. I like to visit London a couple of times a year, for opera, music, plays, museums and sport.

We are very keen voyagers. In 2016, we did a two-month around-the-world trip, visiting the USA, Australia and South Africa. In 2017, we did a 10-day tour of India, followed by a few days in Dubai. In 2019, we went to California, travelling from Los Angeles to San Francisco on the Pacific Coast Highway. In 2022, we spent a month in Paris, then did a river cruise on the Rhine. In 2023, we stayed in Rome for three weeks, Amsterdam for the Vermeer exhibition, as well as a week in Lake Garda and a trip to London at Christmas.

This year (2024), our plans are Nice (two weeks in Feb), Copenhagen, then to Stockholm by train in April, London in July and a Nile river cruise in November (postponed from April), as well as our usual two stays in Brittany. Should be another fun year.
