Postcards mailed during austral winter (April - October) will leave Antarctica only when the flights are resumed for the summer (usually around early October).
It may take months for the card to reach you (even as long as 200 days). Lots of cards are unfortunately lost somewhere on their way.
I am deeply sorry that I can not reply to all the messages. Unfortunately the internet connection is quite limited. But be assured that I really do appreciate all the nice words. Thank you!
