Hello fellow Postcrossers.....

My name is Rae, and I live on the outskirts of a small rural town on Queensland’s central coast. My husband and I own and operate a sugar cane farm 🌾 I am a Mum to 5 fabulous young adults, and a newly minted Nanna to 5, including the recent birth of a set of twins. Being a grandparent is fabulous job, I love it!

I love reading 📚writing letters ✒️(pen friends or postcard pals are always welcome) craft, photography, gardening, baking/cooking, music, random road trips. I’m a true crime junkie also, so if you want to tell me about something that has occurred in your area, that would be great. I love listening to podcasts also...so if you have any recommendations to share, they would be very welcomed.

I help out with our local wildlife, as a carer. 🦋 this involves caring for orphaned/sick native animals until they are well enough to be released back into the wild or placing them into a safe environment, if they are unable to be released. This depends on my work schedule and the 6 months of the harvest season. I also do a little work when required at the local funeral home.

My favourite postcards to receive would be....and this is just a guideline if you get stuck.

-native animals or wildlife from your country (owls, wolves and hummingbirds, bees are my favourite)
-landscapes or geographical features
-farming or tractors
-Famous landmarks from your town, State or country
-UNESCO or World Heritage Sites
-National Parks
-Royal Families
-if your crafty and and make your own, they are also welcome. Stickers, washi tape….get those creative juices flowing!

BUT if you do not have any of these, that’s ok, send me a postcard that you would like to receive.

Also I'm a HUGE postage stamp fan, if you have access to different stamps to use, and it’s no extra trouble and not expensive, this would make me happy💌
