About Volha...
hi, my name is Volha, I'm Belarusian by origin. 8 years ago I moved to Czechia as a student and now I live here. My professional field is geoinformatics and remote sensing. My main hobby is reading. I like classical, Belarusian and Yugoslavian literature and memoirs. I adore reading expeditions diaries. I'm also a horse rider (former show jumper). And I grow species orchids :3
talking about postcards - any type is welcome! I'll be happy if you surprize me. If it's more comfortable for you to have some vectors, there is also a short list below. If you don't know what to write, share with me some specific knowledge that you have and thus expand my horizons.

I absolutely adore:
- maxicards/ cartes maximum. If you are so kind to share with me one, if it's possible to you, please send it unwritten in the envelope. I like to collect them blank.
- my dream is to receive a maxicard with botanical orchids :3
themes of my interest:
- space exploration, natural sciences, expeditions, history of science, etc.
- cranes, coal mining excavators, oil platforms, telecommunication facilities, satellites, sea or river ports (locks), airports, expedition or cargo ships, etc.
- landscapes and places vanished due to human activity. Glaciers, swamps, rivers (especially on older photos). Natural phenomenae of your region, cataclysmic events.
- local, endangered or extinct bird and animal species (including dinosaurs), trees and botanical illustrations. With a great pleasure I'll take a look at orchids, felines or night moths from your region, if there are any present. Botanical gardens.
- local bread, national textile ornaments
- cats, horses or cows in artworks
- Pettson and Findus book illustrations
- I'm not really into typical contemporary tourist city view cards, but I like hidden cozy places, with a lot of trees or rural views.
- I'll appreciate any EUROPA stamps, especially depicting flora and fauna.
if you accidentally found my profile, don’t hesitate to contact me if you want to exchange!
