About Maina...
I am a student of geography, that’s how I got my interest in places and people around the world. I am a huge movie buff, I watch movies from all parts of the world, and this is one way I try to learn about places and people. I listen to songs, cook, read newspaper. I wish I could play Violin someday, learn some more languages and actually see the places I have been watching on digital canvas.
As far as my postcard liking, I want to collect postcards from varied places. I will be interested in anything that tells about the place you reside, postcard of a busy STREET of your city, village postcard, famous rivers and BRIDGES in your city important land mark of your city, CAFES, native people etc. (if possible try avoid multi -view cards).
Currently i am a huge fan of MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE, WOODEN postcards and TIN postcards. I love the idea, never got one though. Can you send me one if you have easy access.
once i got a Igne Look card (no. 5 and no. 34) and it made me really happy. if you have more Igne look card I will love have a collection of all IGNE LOOK cards. Unfortunately we don't get them in the markets of Delhi.
Postcard with beautiful paintings in bright colours are welcome. I' m going to use them to decorate my walls.
I like watching TV serials and like some of the characters so much. one of my favourite character is Chandler Bing from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. if you send me a postcard featuring this dude I will be so happy.
Once a postcard wrongly got into my address. it was a illustration card of the book "odyssey", I wanted to keep the card but later the day I followed the address and returned it back. To sum it up postcrossing is fun and I enjoy every card you send. Along with postcard I will love to read something about you.
NOTE : THOSE OF YOU WHO HAS SENT ME A CARD IN LAST 2 MONTHS AND STILL TRAVELLING PLEASE GIVE ME THE I.D. NUMBER I WILL REGISTER IT FOR YOU. I HAVE SOME PROBLEMS WITH MY ADDRESS IT SEEMS. SO UNTILL I FIX MY PROBLEM I HAVE DECIDED TO REGISTER IT THOUGH I HAVE NOT GOT IT.
